Ibn Jasper (Kanye’s close friend/stylist) has teamed up with CAPITAL Brand homie Mack of PersonaMagazine.net for a special release of the Quintin 5 Panel “Jasper” hat. The hat is made to reflect the Louis Vuitton “Jasper” sneaker Kanye designed and named after his friend Ibn. This event will be a special one. If you are in the Los Angeles area Monday, be sure to support. If you happen to be in Chicago Tuesday, jump over to RSVP for the release of the actual hat.
Both pairs feature predominately nubuck textured upper combined with a traditional white sole. It also features sections of soft tan leather on the collar area, contrast stitching throughout the base, a mesh lining and monochromatic shoelaces. To finish it off, this sneaker incorporates a white Adidas tag logo ont the tongue. The black pair is now available for pre-oreder on Crooked Tongues, while the teal pair will show up shortly.

Nike Snowboarding is set to drop a special release Zoom Force 1 for shred pro Danny Kass. For those of you in Portland, you may know of Danny because of his involvement with the brand Grenade based in the Rose City. And/or the now defunct skate shops “The Office” which were owned by the same group. The “shoot” (shoe/boot) features a unique double tongue system with both Canadian and American flags. No release information has been confirmed, but look out for an early 2010 release at select doors.
